Elli, I have to go along with Bob on this one, for this reason. Unless the agreement Nancy signed with the Springer show had a clause in it that was binding on her heirs, etc., she really can't dictate from the grave what her kids will or will not agree to. I'm sure when she signed that it was her belief that any arbitration that might result would involve her, alive and well, and able to speak for herself. Now that she's gone, it seems to me that her kids can either respect her wishes or not. She isn't going to benefit from any arbitration or lack of it, so why should her kids not go for it. I'm betting that the Springer people would love to "settle out", save a few million bucks and a lot of bad publicity. IMO they are every bit as vulnerable as Jenny Jones was. And honestly, I think the general consensus is that this type of trash programming is due for a lesson.

I know that you are of the opinion that the show really had nothing to do with her death; that it was the events that occurred after with the house, etc., that led to her being killed. How can you disagree though, that BUT FOR the Springer show, no one would have been used for the sole purpose of embarrassment, no one would have had their personal situation put out there for the world to see, no one except the parties involved would have had to know that there was a 'triangle' going on. Being shamed in front of millions of people ain't no walk in the park down a rose covered path, Elli.

IMO somebody's going to get rich behind this tragedy and it looks like it's going to be the Campbell clan.
