Since Texas was built on a giant anthill and I haven’t had much luck growing things (trying again this next season) I buy my herbs from a wholesale supplier…but places like natural food stores often time will have them, they do tend to cost more there then through someone that does nothing but sell herbs. Austin is pretty eclectic and we have a lot of health food stores and herb bars and funky metaphysical shops so you can find just about anything around here. Faye I would start by looking in the phonebook for places like I just mentioned and go from there. Of course if you still have no luck there are tons of places on-line that will fed-ex them to you. I buy mine in bulk and store them in dark glass containers (they take up a good portion of my already cramped kitchen) I have a bookshelf in my bedroom full of incense and candles and essential oils and of course books ;-) Oh and a cast-iron caldron in my yard…shhh don’t tell anyone, it really keeps those pesky neighborhood kids out of my yard. *VBEG*
