I am a "medication" reader.... I can't leave conventional meds alone - always got to annalyse what is in them and I note that a lot of them contain cayenne type products in salve form (to draw the blood to the area normally in conjunction with arthritic type aches and pains) so I thought it would be okay - guess it's maybe just a case of testing a little first like with pepper based rubs etc. And the other thing was the vinegar, I've made a few tinctures and I haven't heated the vinegar, I generally just leave them to infuse in the manner of an infused oil (which I know you can do by heating first but when I mentioned it to Dorothy she had a fit and told me to bring pad and pencil next time and she was going to sit me down and tell me what was what, LOL). What do you think? Just different schools of thought on things like this? I tend to think so, my books all suggest slightly different methods too.
