Subject: I'm really trying to stop collecting *anything*

But every time I get an area uncluttered, the Big Guy sees it as an opportunity to spread out some of his junk (I collect neat stuff - he collects*junk*!)
I collect chids-size Blue Willow teasets. The reason for this is...............many moons ago when I was first married, I bought one of those teasets in the dime store for about $1.98 - put the pieces on a knick knack shelf in my little kitchen. Flash forward more years, my kids play with it, break some pieces and I don't care. Flash forward to about 10 years ago, I start seeing this stuff in antique stores. Since I had most of the pieces (especially the *best* ones - the serving pieces) I decided to make my set complete again. A set now is worth about $450. I have 2 complete sets and am almost finished with an Occupied Japan set - it will be worth about $650. They are for my grand daughters (whether they want them or not!) I have always had a set on display in the house and let them have teaparties once in a while.
Right now, I'm in love with rocks..........we're going for a ride tomorrow to look for rocks. I have to take the Big Guy for "labor" - I spot them and yell "Over there! Look, there's a pretty one!" I'm planting rocks instead of flowers!
