There are rules about supervision but they rarely get adhered to by these groups and the lifeguards go insane. All children under a certain age (I think it is 12 or 13) have to be accompanied by an adult but that is all. But it is really sad when a COMMON SENSE thingmay have to be written down.

The lifeguards would like to see these groups banned from the pool but then there are various laws about that. These poor kids doing a great summer job (and they are very well trained) and just going crazy.

And some child is going to die due to adult inattentiveness and the lifeguards not being able to properly do their jobs.

The paper called me yesterday after I emailed the letter and I have my fingers crossed they will run it...
