There are 2 and a 1/4 pounds to a Kg I think..... so that's like... around 5 pounds. Does that sound right?

To be honest Marlene I've never really worry since pumpkins tend to be "one for $x.xx" here I just grab the largest and adjust other ingredients to suit. :)

I've just been out and bought two pumpkins - one butternut and one buttercup - the butternut looks like the one I need for Lisa's recipe (got all the other stuff too :) and the buttercup is to make some soup for the weekend and for Andrews lunch tomorrow (it's a little cold here today too).
