The "weeping" is the sugar separating from the protein in the meringue in the presence of moisture. As far as I know there is no tried and true way to stop that.

I tried using gelatin in meringue a few years ago but it didn't really have the texture of meringue. I just try to serve to guests right after coming out of the oven. If they come back for leftovers later they just have to put up with the "tears". Hugs and enjoy the holiday!!!
