Your body has been through a lot, and your "psyche" too. You had no time to prepare yourself mentally for this - just slam, bam, you're having spinal surgery, Ma'am!
Like most woman you are probably used to multi-tasking (our brains are phenomenal!) but maybe you should really try to concentrate on one thing at a time.
And take it from someone who is "losing her mind" (me) it really helps to write things down, make lists. You said you were going to start working from home this week - are you? Trying taking notes as you talk to customers, don't take it for granted (just for now) that you can remember things as you normally do.
I have heard it said it takes a year to fully re-cover from major surgery, and I believe it. But you sound wonderful, just take it slowly. You know you have a big hug from me anytime you need one.
Here comes one now........WHOOSHHHHH.
