go to www.askjeeves.com and in the question box, type general anesthesia and its side effects (or just general anesthesia). You will be presented with many (as in 50-60) different links you can click on and also some reference documentation... it might be helpful if you knew exactly which anesthetic was used. Good luck! I had not saved the links from my son's surgery (it was about 3-4 years ago), but I always use ask jeeves when I want to do internet research and get a lot of links with just a little work!
