I had it done in 1992 and I still don't have some of the feeling between my shoulder blades. Sorry to tell ya babe, some of it may not go away, ever.

I simpathyze with you that it is one of the most annoying pains that you have ever had. Numb. When some one touches you there, it feels like they are sticking little needles into you. Yep. That is the way it has been for me for 9 years. Ick.

My Aunt from Colorado does homeopathic healing and specializes in Jin Shin Jyutsu and she tried it on me once and the pain from her touching me in the "bad" spot was so unbearable I got sick and almost fainted (one of the pressure points was right where they did the bone graft and it is sooooo tender).

My advice would be just to do only what you feel comfortable with. If you do go to someone that does JSJ, make sure to tell them to stop if it gets to causing discomfort. One of the best things you could do for yourself is try to stimulate healing in the areas that are numb. Gentle exercises that I'm sure were prescribed by your therapist. Therapy helped me, they gave me my exercises and told me to stretch a bunch. Not to the point that it hurt, but to the point that I felt that I was loosening up.

Hope this helps.

Sorry I don't get over to post very much! I hardly get time to keep up at Erics! We have been looking for a house with a nice big yard for Nedra to play!
