Subject: Handy hint for quick burn first aid.

I thought I'd share this with you guys as this is the second time I've used it with good results. Last night I was frying some potatoes in hot oil when a bit of oil splattered and hit me in the face just under my eyebrow (nothing too serious but I knew it would sting). I couldn't leave the hot oil unattended to go get anything from the bathroom to apply to it so (after dabbing the area with a little cool liquid and a cloth) I reached into the pantry (right behind me) grabbed the honey container and put a small dab on the spot (which had begun to sting by then). It felt better almost straight away and the only reason I remembered it had happened throughout the rest of the evening was that I had a small sticky patch on my face from it.

So, for minor burns if you're ever caught short, give it a go - it does work well. I've also used fresh aloe with outstanding results but the honey was closer last night.
