Hash Brown Casserole

Layer in a 13 X 9 pan

2 pound package of frozen hash browns (not patties or shreds) slightly thawed (I use ore Ida)
1 cup chopped onions
salt and pepper
1 stick of margarine (melted
Mix one can cream of chicken soup and 1 pint of sour cream -spread over mixture
Top with 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

Bake at 375 degrees F for one hour

I have served this with steak, hamburgers, chicken (and as a main dish) - taken it to potlucks and friends houses and never had anyone turn down seconds or the leftovers!
