I do a similar one if you want to try it sometime but with raw sliced potatoes layer into a casserole dish, alternating the layers of potatoe slices with a sprinkle of dry soup powder and some grated cheese. Pour over milk and bake (oven or microwave) top with extra grated cheese. This is really easy! Very nice (good cold for Andrews lunch the next day too so I always make extra) pretty much foolproof *VBG* and, like yours, goes with just about everything. :)

I hate not having things like potatoes, eggs and cheese etc in the house - there is always a meal to be had with things like that on hand.

More potatoe recipes please guys - if you have them. :)

PS - I keep meaning to say that Marlene's Smashed Potatoes are a total WINNER!!! Andrew, Daniel and I thoroughly approve thank you Marlene! :)))
