Subject: I know a little about gemstones (Diane and Margaret)

Actually *sheepish grin* I have a small pouch of purified crystals and various other gemstones. I can't honestly tell you how effective they are, but if you'd like to know more about what they theoretically do I'll be happy to share. I usually wear a crystal around my neck - people think I'm some weird witchy/hippy type.

Margaret, I'll be sending huge positive vibes for your surgery. My dad was in a go-kart (yes, he *is* an adult!) accident in '91. His pelvis was pulverized and the rest of his leg was very messed up. They put him back together, but he lived with horrible pain for years. Last year he went in for a hip replacement. They ended up doing some major work that went in the medical books and he now has a new hip and a reinforced bone all the way to the knee. He's doing wonderfully and while he still has some pain it's taken care of with over-the-counter drugs rather than narcotics. You'll do great, just remember not to do too much too soon. Hugs.
