OLD WIVES' TALES

Is there anything you've heard all your life like......don't walk under a ladder or bad luck if a black cat crosses your path or 7 years bad luck if you break a mirror (or is it 9 yrs?) - that intellectually you *know* is silly, but you still believe it "just a little bit"?

Mine is tickling a baby's feet will make him stutter......I just *cannot* stand to see someone do that to a baby.

Have you got one?
