We found a colony of ants living in a tree. Watched the nurse ants tending some eggs and followed one brave fellow carrying a bug back home. Found more baby spiders and named one of them Arania (from Charlotte's Web, of course). Worms galore, and some cat poop in the sandbox.

I'm nursing my aching butt. Cool Mom on rollerblades fell on her hiney while the neighbor children laughed. Cool Mom pogoed up and down the block while the elderly gentleman across the street clapped. Cool Mom was unable to hula hoop, but gave it a darn good try. Cool Mom also showed the girls that she could still do a backbend from a standing position - Evil Dad refused to help her back up and made lewd side comments before tipping her over (pig!).

Colleen is doing well. Still can't figure out what happened, but may have been human error. Evening dose is signigicantly less than morning dose. We mix long and short acting insulins in the same syringe. I remember the total morning dose because I added a bit to the long acting, but think maybe I used the smaller evening fast acting in the morning. I know, that probably makes no sense. Oh well. By 7 pm she was back in good range and we had a fun day. "To err is human" - I don't kick myself anymore. Thanks for asking guys.
