Looking for Gift Ideas

The daughter of a dear friend and neighbor is graduating from Nursing School and we want to get her something - I can spend about $50.
She's a good kid and has struggled to put herself through school. But she's left home about 5 years ago and I haven't seen much of her.
I have kind of lost touch with what a young single woman might like, she's 25 I think. I would like it to be a keepsake type thing, rather than the trendy, cool thing of the moment. Anyone have any good ideas for me?
