New Zealand doesn't have all that many endemic herbs - just a few and of no particular note really but interesting if you're right into herbs. It was just a little handbook that I picked up a couple of copies of that has a small section on NZ and the rest is pretty general. For me I can NEVER have too many herbals - big or small, right up to date or old as the hills, medical, crafts, the plants and their culture or historical facts and weird references - I love them all! :) My books and I have spent Many happy hours and I tend to lug them all over the house with me. :) The internet opened up an even bigger world of all things herbal but nothing can compare to the real smell and look of a little patch of herbs when the sun strikes them after a little rain. Or the ones with the high levels of essential oils in them on a stinking hot, still day when the smell of thyme just wafts all around you like a cloud. :) Roll on summer is all I can say! And, meantime, YES ....let's talk herbs. :)

Diane.
