Honestly. I will answer that question as soon as I get it back from my Mom. *grinning*

But from the quick glance I got, most of the goodies that Diane can grow, I can grow here in the Southern US too. It's a terrific book. :)

You can grow lavender really easily. I have to work at it (although I do have really well draining soil here, mostly alluvial and sand). However any of the mediteraneans do well. Basil, oregano, I've got a couple of 5 foot rosemary, bay, lemon grass. I have a rough time with thyme, but I think that has more to do with me than the thyme. My Mom grows it well and it likes her!!!

Godiva liquer is as you might guess chocolate liquer. Talk about decadent!!!
