We have lived in this area all our lives (at least I have-my husband is a Navy brat but was born here) and our family is nearby. Sometimes I wish we could take all this equity in this California over-priced house and go "back to Texas or Oklahoma" - someplace where we had some roots and could live well on our equity money. But I am *used* to my earthquakes.... and snow, hurricanes and floods sound scarey!
