I have long wondered if I'd be able to grow orchids in our spa room (think hot tub). My MIL used to grow them - wish I'd asked her when I had the opportunity too. :( So does anyone know? What's easy to begin with in orchids ~ the room in question is kind of dark but does have some artificial lighting each day by way of a fish tank on an automatic timer.

Marlene I'll see if I can pin point a rugosa rose for you that will behave - or maybe something else for your hot climate ...I have me favourite little rose book right here beside me. :)
