It seems there are missing adventures, perhaps they could go back and portray those someday. DD & GA would have to be de-aged and return their hairstyles to 92/93.

One reason this might have happened is that the pilot for a show is usually filmed on its own, then shown to the network brass before a series is OKed. They perhaps dated the pilot at the time it was shot and the latter eps were also dated this way although there had been a year long gap. Anyone know about this? Did they have the usual break and stamp of approval or did they go to series right off the bat?

Unless there was a year of relatively tame adventures by M & S in which Scully saw no UFOs or much else that would taint her first season scepticism, I'd tend to agree that those dates are in error and that Deep Throat comes in not too long after the Pilot.
