the crowd waited impatiently for Kande, her SO and the surprise for Detoured.

"Wonder who they found for Detoured?" mused the Mayor as she sat with CW and her gentleman friend. "I know who your friend is but it's driving me crazy wondering who on earth they found for Detoured."

CW and her friend looked at each other quizzically and then at the Mayor. "Now who do you think I am?" he asked her with a rather amused look on his face. "We have never been properly introduced."

"Fingerprints" was all the Mayor muttered as she drained her rootbeer and motioned for another one. "But then they were inconclusive so I just guessed. Don't worry, I won't tell until the time is right--and even then I think you should do that."

As KS drove them back to the Klub, Bubba turned around to watch Kande and her SO in the back seat. They were deep in conversation, making wild hand motions which Bubba could not figure out. "Drat it" he thought "I knew I should have brushed up on Shipperville hand gestures--these are making absolutely no sense!"

As Bubba turned to KS who was muttering to herself also unintelligibly due to the metal in her mouth, he had to shake his head and throw up his hands in a gesture of defeat as he turned and stared out the window. "I should have stayed back at the Klub" he thought "at least that would have been more interesting and certainly more fun!"
