CW cuffs KS on the ear. "Dana and Fox are celebrities too, you know. As is your very own JD."

"I know," KS rubs her smarting ear and scuffs her feet. "But it's hard to remember that once you've seen them breastfeeding, and with stubble, and in their underwear."

Kande's eyes get all misty. "And that's just Dana."

CW rolls her eyes. "You wish."

KS suddenly straightens up, eyes gleaming. "Well, gotta go!" She smartly salutes Stardoe, who barely acknowledges her with a wave, and strides out the door. CW and Kande look at each other.

"What was that all about?" CW says suspiciously. Stardoe reaches over and turns up her transmitter. A jumble of voices can suddenly be heard.

"Whut?" Kande says, moving closer and cupping her ear.

"Is that...?" CW says in a hushed voice.

"Everybody in town is bugged," Stardoe tells her absentmindedly. She is idly turning the pages of a cookbook, trying to figure out what to make for Jessica Fletcher's surprise dinner party. "I had KS bug everyone and she must have been wearing a transmitter in her ear."

"So what made her take off so quickly?" CW and Kande exlaim at once.

"Listen," Stardoe tells them, turning the sound up.
