"Here's my plan. This must be some sort of tax or law violation, so I will stay here in my bomb-proof office and calculate the fine plus late fees plus interest plus a general nuisance fee. You will gather your troops and circle her house." Kenamom stops and looks Stardoe in the eye. "This must be stopped."

Stardoe nods. "Yes, mayor. I couldn't agree with your more. I'll get right on it." Stardoe turns to leave, then stops. "Umm....just who are my troops these days?"

Before answering, Kenamom pulls a bottle of aspirin from the top right drawer of her desk, shakes out a half dozen pills and swallows them without water. "Ok, your troops do seem to be a bit depleted these days. Gather up these townsfolk." Kenamom scribbles names on a piece of paper and hands it to Stardoe.

Stardoe reviews the list. "IG? Kande? Rabid?" she whines. "You've got to be kidding. These guys won't stop what's happening."

"They will have to," the mayor grimly replies.

Stardoe sighs, then heads out the door to gather her troops. Once gathered, she addresses the group. "There's something mysterious going on in Shipperville." The crowd snorts - what else is new? "No, no. Worse than usual." That quiets the crowd. "It seems that there have been an unusual number of deaths over at KS's house."

"Deaths? Who died? Looks to me like we're all here," reasons CW.

"Not people. Pets."

The crowd gasps. IG swoons and falls on Detoured's feet.

"I'm ok!"
