Kande hops nervously from foot to foot as she waits for her computer to connect to the internet. "I can't believe the expiration date for my credit card was wrong! How did that happen?" Kande's fingers tap the keyboard as the connection finally appears. She goes to Amazon.com and tries to update the payment method as directed. After 15 tries, she shoves her keyboard aside in frustration.

Before she can pick up the monitor and toss it out the window, Bubba enters. He quickly assesses the situation and motions for Kande to step aside. He deftly cancels the order and then places a new order. Before finalizing the order, he looks at Kande with a questioning look. Taking deep, cleansing breaths, Kande nods for him to finish the order.

Order placed, Bubba goes back to sweeping the floors while whistling his odd, alien tune.

Kande, momentarily relieved, suddenly realizes that her sister is STILL going to kill her. It's two days after her birthday. She'll never understand the whole credit card debacle. Kande sits down at her computer, goes to Google, and does a search on "excuses to avoid a certain death".
