This is my view. If you are short, with dark color skin and has kinky hair, you could be an original Filipino, or a native Filipino, or a Negrito-Filipino.

If you do not look like the above description, then you are a mestizo/mestiza, with Malayan, Chinese, Indian, Arab, Spanish, American, or European blood in you veins. Malayan or Chinese blood mix is common, based on the looks of many Filipinos. So the Philippines is a nation of half bloods.

Could this be a reason why Filipinos are difficult to unite, and have difficulty to possess a single identity?
