Subject: military dress

Ever notice that Mac, the square away marine, dresses quite differently when she's out of uniform. Except for business suits most of her outfits aren't conservative.

She wear many floral as well as deep cut in the front outfits.

Why is this?

Is this part of her wild side she exhibited as a teenager or does she want the world to know that Mac is a marine, but Sarah is a beautiful and exciting woman.

She's more than just a marines.

What do you all think about her choice in dress outside the office? Does it define her as a person or that she's not just a marine and a lawyer?

[> I think its because she wanted people to recognize that she is in fact a woman. Yes Mac is a Marine, & for the most part she is a woman in a man's world. When she's off duty, Mac probably wanted to be a woman, instead of someone in uniform if that makes sense. I didn't always like the style of clothing, but I didn't see anything wrong with it. Mac wasn't flaunting, she dressed like a woman. -- Jennifer, 19:51:23 01/05/09 Mon

[> sorry to be wordy but godda add to this. Take Silent Service. Mac and Harm ,for total story, run around in standard submarine blue poopie suits. Not very flattering for Mac. Recently i got a picture of my son and his mates down deep in the ocean and he looks very cute and sexy with a furry beard. i bet mac could not wait to get home and soak in something nice smelling and get into some gal cloths. -- Linda R, 14:14:46 01/06/09 Tue

[> You ever wear the same thing to work all week long? It seems the military gets 3 types of uniforms, (I know these are not the correct terms, but you will know what I mean)"peanut butters", BDU's, class A's, with the occasional dress blues. When you get out of uniform you want to be out of uniform. -- jagnut, 15:18:30 01/06/09 Tue

[> [> Absolutely jagnut. Mac is in her uniform more often than she is not. So when she gets a chance to get out of it she dresses very feminine, which most women do. It has nothing to do with her childhood or a wildside or wanting the world to know anything. She's a beautiful, feminine woman and she dresses like one when she's not at work, it's as simple as that, nothing more should be read into it. -- KH, 16:15:43 01/06/09 Tue

[> DB has Harm and Mac often running around off base or office in their uniforms. more often then real military. think how often you see folks in uniform.? So mac would even more want out of that Marine Green in into female civies. -- Linda R, 13:09:22 01/12/09 Mon

[> [> I was in the military for six years. Duty hours were 0730 to 1600 hours. Any other time I was out of uniform. As for number of uniforms, the longer you were in the more options you had. I used to like to wear khakis to mess with their anal retentive tendencies for control. I use to work in a lab, so eventually they require a standard class A uniform once a week to make sure you still own one. By the way they use to give a clothing allowance to replace uniforms. It wasn't much, but then again it took a long time to wear them out especially when you never wore them. -- p, 08:14:26 01/20/09 Tue
