When you think about Jag are you happy with the ending that they gave us?
Do you think the coin toss stuck in the middle of the air was an appropriate ending for the series?
Do you think the fans got the ending they wanted?
Do you wish they had done something different?
If Mac and Harm did not wind up together would you have been disapointed?
San Diego/London???
What about the future for Mac where do you think she went?
What about the future for Harm where do you think he went?
What about Bud, Harriet, Webb, Cresswell, Gunny, and the rest, what happened with them?
Since the show did not continue there are no right or wrong answers only how you see it, what do you think?

[> I am glad it ended with the impression that Harm and Mac are together and happy. I would have hated if it seemed they went their separate ways. The coin toss was fine this way no resentment in who gives up there promotion. I hope the other person stayed in the service just in a different posting. Do care where they are as long as they are happy together. But yeah would have loved more or a build up with their relationship than just 7.5 mins. -- Hope, 04:22:14 01/15/09 Thu

[> I agree with Hope, above. I liked the way Harm and Mac were together, and leaving the location ambiguous gave each of us the opportunity to imagine them wherever we wanted (and nearly doubled the fanfiction ideas!). I wish we had seen all Harm and Mac, though, and not wasted all that time on the ridiculous, dead-end character of Vukovic. Did anyone like that character? I don't remember anyone every expressing that! -- Deemus, 08:44:15 01/17/09 Sat

[> [> If they had introduced Vic like they had introduced NCIS, that is one or two episodes, it would have been okay, they might have been able to have another show, but ............. -- p, 08:06:52 01/20/09 Tue

they needed to find a strong woman to be opposite him. none of the women they showed during Vic's tenure were strong, the blond bimbo was love struck puppy, the black girl was too submissive, they all caved in to Vic.

At least Meg and Caitlin never gave in to Harm. they fought him all the way to express their point of view even though they may not have come accross as well inform, they at least were put in the position of learning about real navy life.

anyway, there was too much Vic, he turned off too many people.

[> [> [> Vukovic's character as he was introduced--sneaky, slick, and self-serving--made him totally unlikable in my book. He wasn't "the next Harm" because Harm was written as honorable and direct, even if he was sometimes a bull in a china shop. If Vic had had more admirable qualities as well as being introduced slowly (and with a stronger female partner, as you mentioned) he might have eventually been acceptable. -- Deemus, 17:20:34 01/20/09 Tue

[> you are so spot on. imagine the fun if harm and mac had made that drive Vic and blondie did. Whoo what fun. i feel lucky we at least got an ending and show did not just stop. the coin toss was unique and fan fic writers have done their best to provide different endings. initially i wanted mac to carry on jag but then we would not have had Army Wives. A several year later full length movie would be great. Especially to see mac and harm as parents. in their real life both haveing kids so close in age and being great parents would have made them up for a great family reunion show. -- Linda R, 13:56:27 01/19/09 Mon
