Well here is a picture for all the Mac and Harm shippers out there to discuss,,why did they put Mac through all the stuff she went through with these two men and then only give us 7 minutes of Mac and Harm????

I could see the whys with this, as Mac was still suffering IMHO from stress related to the whole Paraguay situation. She never really dealt with it, and it wasn't until much later that she sought help. She should've, IMHO, seen someone right after they got back, but because she wasn't CIA she fell through the cracks so to speak and AJ didn't really give a d*mn about her (what happened to my AJ LOL)...

Webb was more of a desperation, two people who went through a horrific, brutal ordeal together, where they are the only two who knew what the other had suffered. It didn't make it right, and I would've much preferred if Mac and Webb had remained just friends instead of going there.

Yeah I'd hoped for more on the Mac & Harm relationship. I know TPTB were trying to save their show with the whole spin-off idea, but it would've been nice to of seen maybe the last half of the season devoted mainly to Mac & Harm and their relationship, and possibly have the last show a glimpse 10 years into their future...But for what it also could've been, one of the dying, etc., at least we got a marriage proposal and the fact that they were together finally.

The time was right. They would have dealt with a lot of their baggage. They obviously wanted to be together.


Like I've said mant times before CB came onto JAG and sent the show in another direction. She made Harm and Mac a couple even if DB didn't want to go there.



But DB didn't want them together at least not so soon, so he put road blocks in, like Harm being distracted when Chris came back.

Jordan dating Harm for six months
Harm leaving to fly
Having Mic develope his relationship with Mac leading to their eventual engagement.

Finally when all seemed right in their world they accuse Harm of murder and send Mac to Paraguay.

It's funny how DB wanted to keep them apart to not bring the show to a premature end actually ended up hurting himself and JAG.

JAG was on its way to being a top ten or top twenty show.

All DB had to do was let Harm and Mac's relationship continue to develope.

The best part of JAG was the interaction between Harm and Mac. JAG was a character driven show with the military as a backdrop.

I do agree with you that the second half of season ten should have been about Harm ad Mac moving forward and getting married. The wedding should have been the grand finale.

Vic and company should have been on like NCIS was. Make you aware of a spinoff of new show for the FANS of JAG to watch. WHo knows VIC and company could be doing okay now if we were force fed him and he wasn't completeing for Mac's attention. All that did was make Mac look weak and Vic look like an ass.


As for Mac's relationship with Mic and Webb, both came about when Harm wasn't around. He wasn't there for her.

Remember season four ended with Mac yearning for a baby and her biological clock running down.

She wanted a family, Harm didn't want to provide it, so she took what she could to have what she wanted.
