Now don’t worry; you aren’t going to suffocate, you can keep doing that all day.” I smiled encouragingly at him, and he managed to nod. I straightened up and looked round; we were near Locust Street, and Peterman’s ordinary was no more than a block away.

And so we meet the Duke of Pardlow. As a physical therapist I have worked with people with asthma, and while it’s very scary, if you can get them to control their breath it really does help! (But the drugs were have now are much, much better!!!)
