I took a woodshop class in HS, and my dad's got a drill press I have fun with....but given a milling machine or a laythe, I'd have some fun there too... I've been told I've got the mind for it. I just don't have any tools to learn anything with...I suppose I could change my major to manufacturing or Mech E instead of Physics... *shrugs*

What I think would be really cool is a job in a machine shop, where they could train me....unfortunately that's kind of a thing of the past....my dad got away with it 40 years ago, but now the job market's just too competitive with companies wanting prior experience, college degrees...bleh...I just wanna make stuff =)
