I've been doing it for about 18 years for a living.I also took 4 years of metal shop in high school.I have a mill and a surface grinder in my garage and a manage a toolroom at work.So I guess I know a little about machining, but dont ask me to do any of that Physics stuff.not my bag!! by the way there still are shops that train machinest the only problem is the pay starts real low.well good luck with that aspiring machinist thing its alot of fun.
