ANother story you may not have read another group took over a month think it was six weeks to travel by sail boat from Tacoma ( at that time Ft Nisqually to Whidby island a very short distance > they were going further but finally turned back at whidby island . My only reason for posting the storm was because bubba said there was not one single hurricane in the US in 2006 . We had one last week they just do not call them hurricanes on the pac coast. And yes I would love to move I was born and raised and lived in e wa for the first 50 years of my life my husband also . We had planned to move back there when my husband retired however my middle daughter needs me sometimes so we will stay here . If we are still around in 5 years her husband will retire then and perhaps we will all move back to eastern wa. Her hubby grew up in the wenatchee area which is the other side of the cascade mts in wa which is considered part of e wa.
