The Chellaston Dart's are fairly good during the daytime however according to some drivers they are extremely unreliable and prone to breaking down (theres been quite a mixture on the Chellaston route as of late - Citybus's, DAFs the Alvaston Olympians etc).

On numerous occasions the Dart's have become heavily packed before they reach Osmaston and many Osmaston residents are left standing (not good during Winter time).

Arriva need to consider "supply and demand" and utilise Double Decker busses on the single Decker routes during peak times. Osmaston road is one of the worst roads in Derby and the busses are high frequency, though the council should be to blame for high levels of housing estates built along this road (also Swarkestone bridge is accident hotspot).

Trent also increase there fares however their passengers are getting better value for money as trent invest alot in new busses (they have a promise of having no bus over 5 years old).

Arriva's running busses over 20 years old, surely disabled, elderly and parents would much prefer low floor vehicles like those Trent run?

The litter is fairly appalling, as are the behaviour of some passengers who seem to enjoy assaulting the bus driver and throwing objects at others.

When travelling to friends houses on Trent routes I always feel a bit envious.
