That's the point, Joe. The main reason why I don't like Bush is his strategy of war against terrorism. That does not mean that I am for Kerry, but as a matter of fact he is Bush's only opponent. Sometimes you have to chose the lesser evil.

With other words: We Germans and the rest of the world judge Bush vs. Kerry not against issues of American internal politics, but against world and foreign policy. Bush's decisions do not only affect the life of people in America, but in the whole world, that's the problem and that's the reason why you should not deny us the right to assess Bush's politics. Maybe we don't understand American politics as good as you Americans, but maybe we understand world politics as good as you or even a little better in Europe?

If Bush is "pro-life" then why does he allow so many innocent children be killed and suffer in his warfare? He did not even manage to catch "the" Osama Bin Laden after so many years, instead he created thousands of new Osama Bin Ladens. Another problem for me is that the Bush administration apparently had no real interest in the truth. They had their "program" - they wanted to destroy Iraq and Saddam, because of the oil and to settle an old score of Bush's father. The reality (whether there was a Al-Quaeda/Iraq connection and whether they were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq) had to fit into their agenda. If the reality did not fit, then too bad for the facts. They listened only to those consultants they wanted to hear.

I think one should not vote for a president not only based on whether he is a Christian or not, but base on whether his POLITICS is Christian or not. And though some of Bush's political stances appear to be Christian, at least two very important of them are NOT, in my eyes, which are: His politic of war and his environmental politics. And social justice may be another issue.

Please remember Samuel Lee and how he claimed he was a Christian and always held the Bible in his right hand on every photography. Not everyone who claims to be a Christian is one in reality. (I don't want to compare Bush with Lee at this point, even Bush does not deserve that, don't get me wrong. I just gave an extreme example.) And politics of unbelievers can often be more Christian than politics of alleged believers.
