Fury would have been revolted if she'd been in his mind, seeing his thoughts. Her face twitched at the ice cold touch of his hand on her face. She closed her eyes, trying to keep back tears that were pushing at her eyes. It was no use, she opened her eyes when he spoke...a single tear betraying her to the things that stood before her. She was scared...and that was finally proof.

Fury knew exactly what he meant...and it was not comforting or pleasing in the slightest, though, it really wasn't meant to be.

She saw the hunger in his arctic eyes. She tried to look away, but she couldn't. And the cold that had been nipping at her body, finally starting winning. Fury's hands went cold, and it started moving up her body, making her feel as if her insides were going numb. Looking into his eyes just made her doubts of escaping double and another tear freed itself from her formerly warm, mahogany eyes.
