Breaking them was an art and Lucian was a Master. One had to be careful when doing it. Too much and they became mindless zombies who were only really good for nibbles here and there. Not damaged enough and one risks mutiny. Oh but just right. How Lucian ached to draw the tip of his tongue across her cheek and consume those lovely tears. Though, that very well could have sent Fury right over the brink. Brushing his lips across her cheek, Lucian caught a tear, casting a triumphant smirk towards his father; the translation quite clear: I win.

‘Come, poppet. Give us a smile.’
