Yes, we have been homeschooling! I can't believe you do too! Why didn't that ever come up in our conversations??? LOL

We pulled Jake out Christmas break of his kindergarten year. I always wanted to homeschool but we tried public school first. I decided since I was there everyday anyway..I might as well bring him home. They taught *whole* words for readinga nd I didn't agree with that, and a few other things happened that I wasn't crazy about so we took the plunge. My aunt homeschooled her two daughters, so I had support from her.

I know what you mean about de-schooling them! Kylie has never gone to school and I notice how much easier it is to teach her. Jake still has the *school* mentality and that is hard to get over.

How old is Daniel?? Would he like a pen pal at all? Jake is 9 and I know he would love to be able to write to someone. We could exchange information on the places that we live and stuff!! I would be interested in that even!! Let me know what you think!!!

I am so excited that you homeschool!! LOL
