I am thin (5'6"-120 lb) but I don't think its because I'm a vegetarian. I really think the key is exercise, especially after 40. I'm like you Jacke, I do a lot of yard work, mine and my mother's, but it isn't enough so I ride my bike or walk 2-3 miles a few times a week. The problem is finding the time to do either one!

I don't have many vegetarian recipes. For breakfast I drink coffee, period! Mid-morning I eat a piece of fruit and for lunch I have a salad and more fruit. Supper is some type of pasta,(vegetable lasagna is good) beans and rice, steamed vegetables, salads. When Carl fires up the grill to cook himself a steak or burger I usually have a veggie burger or black bean burger or I grill marinated vegetables(asparagus and squash are the best, yummy). My downfall is chocolate, Fritos and Pepsi.

I've seen your picture Jacke and I don't see an extra 15 pounds!
