I haven't really participated in this board yet, except for one reply sorry. I now have a question which I thought suitable so I hope you don't mind me using all your brains for an answer.

I have been with my partner for 9 months now, he is the love of my life. Anyway, in a couple of weeks time, it will the third anniversary of his father's death, whom he was very close to. We talk about his dad a lot, he's always with us and I want to do something special for my man on that day so that he knows I am thinking about him and how he feels. It will be the first time I have been with him for this anniversary. I thought of giving him a nicely worded card, along with perhaps a new flowering plant that we can plant at the cemetery where his dad is. Does anyone have any suggestions for what plant to buy? I know that various plants have meanings (red rose = love etc) and I was wondering if there is some sort of plant that would be a nice symbolic gesture that means something to him. Failing a plant, does anyone else have any suggestions on how to handle this day and what I can do? I haven't been in this sort of situation before and would appreciate any advice. Thanks very much everybody.
