What do I have in my cupboard that I could get rid of? " she thought. She glances over at KM who is ratting through her toe sock drawer. "He loves me , he loves me not" she mutters as she tosses the socks into two sparate piles. "One for KS and One for me " KM begins.

Stardoe pictures her closet in her mind. "Well, there's that balaclava I got for skiing 10 years ago. Haven't worn it since. Have to wash it. My nose did run a bit that winter. Hmmm. What else. My parka. No, can't give her that. I might only wear it for two months of the year but I still need it for then. Thermal underwear. Don't own any of that. Sent it to Saint Vinnies after I got back from my european trip, 13 yrs ago. "
Stardoe feels very unhappy that she has no winter woolies in her closet to get rid off. What on earth will she give KS for her birthday. It will have to be something good coz Stardoe's birthday is coming up and KS always gives good presents. Stardoe just has to think of something good for KS.
