Branberry was totally shocked that she was alive that she felt light-headed. By the laws of nature, she should have been killed by blues or left to die. She teetered forward, looking dizzy and barely noticing her surroundings. Her attention was focused on the greyish blue fox. He seemed to be taking contol. Perhaps he was a bit gruff, but he obviously had sense. The red town vixen was too weak to even consider the prospect of chasing him as a mate though, which, as she dully noted to herself, proved the extent of her illness. She wandered where the others were planning to take her. She had not yet dug an earth and had been sleeping above ground, which had made her feel worse. She started to panic. Where could they take her? She had no earth to return to and staying above ground would probably kill her in her current weak state. She knew Rocket to be a stranger and assumed he had no earth. She couldnt bring herself to stay with her son and Dreamer, if they offered, as she was still firm in believing that they should be putting their lives first. For all Branberry knew, Traveller and Dreamer could have a litter of cubs in their earth, or just waiting to be born. The only other option was Fox. Branberry shied away from that thought too. She admired Fox and Vixen was her friend but she wouldnt feel welcome in intruding the home of a couple.
Branberry paused. She wanted to see if she could stand properly. She couldnt.
