In reply to: Mike Schmitt 's message, "Believe it! They can remove any amenity without each homeowners input" on Sun, Sep 06 2009, 10:40:32

I spoke with a homeowner this morning that emailed me the following link:

http://www.nextag.com/Hoop-Lok-Basketball-Rim-658279364/prices-html?nxtg=15610a280510-67B4728CA05A797B

It is called the Hoop Lok Basketball Rim Lock and is only $70.

The description states:
Protect your rim from unauthorized use with the Hook Lok Basketball Rim Lock. This lock system is designed to fit over standard and break-away rims.

I don’t think this exact one will work with our double rims but they may make one for double rims. If not, we may be able to find someone locally that can make a couple for us.

I volunteer to put them on and take them off as needed. I live only one house from the basketball courts. I have replaced the nets a few times and it looks like it should be easier than that.

Let’s get the goals back up so we can address what is going on in the common area.

Curt
