Isobel had found a couple of interesting daggers in the sarcophagus and added them to her collection. They would replace a couple she had lost along the way in various battles.

She smiled at Ravin, massaging his spell-struck shoulder as they followed Erlic down one of the passageways into an interesting room with a checkerboard floor. "I do not like the look of this," she muttered. And she was right! Snakes started emerging from the baskets that stood against the walls. The battle was over so quickly, however, that she did not have time to attack anything. She had to instead satisfy herself with chopping a nearly-dead snake in half to end its life. Disgusted, she kicked it. "Filthy puta!" she snarled, then looked up grinning. "I feel much better now."

She moved to one of the baskets and put her hand on the wall behind it to brace herself as she leaned over to look inside. Suddenly the wall seemed to not be there at all and she fell, tumbling over the basket and onto some sort of stairway. She tumbled down the stairs, bumping along painfully and only came to a stop when she had reached the bottom.

Isobel groaned and picked herself up off the ground. "I am lucky I did not break my neck," she muttered as she looked around. She could not see much in the darkness, so she took out one of the glowsticks Erlic had passed out earlier and shook it to life. She was in a large underground cavern. A huge underground lake was before her, and in the middle of the lake was what looked like a small island. The entire island seemed to consist of one hill, and in the hill was a circular doorway.

Isobel could see nothing more without moving out into the cavern. A maze of stalactites and stalagmites protruded from the ceiling and floor everywhere, making it impossible to see very far. Only the way to the lake was clear of them.

She did not think it was a good idea to go exploring on her own, so she turned back to the stairway, peering up at where she must have come through. She could see an opening that wasn't visible from the other side. It must be an illusionary wall or the like. "I have found a most unusual area," she called up the stairs to the others, hoping they could hear her.

She waited a few minutes to see if anyone would follow her down.
