Subject: New Series of Doctor Who - Episode 3.1: Smith and Jones *Spoilers*

Plodding pachydermal policemen of the intergalactic variety, a psychotic plasmavore shape-shifter who uses a drinking straw as a murder weapon and harbours a deep hatred of Shirley Temple types. Add to that a new assistant, moonscsapes, an acre of black leather, fully loaded X-ray machines, an overheating MRI scanner and the incomparable and superbly scatterbrained David Tennant, who could ask for more?

Pacey, attention grabbing and great fun this latest offering is noticably more adult-orientated than previous series of the new take on the BBC's flagship Sci-Fi. Tune in next week when The Doctor meets...William Shakespeare!
