Talk about a small world! My husband and I have met only one person here who is Teochew. Yes, I do miss the food! We also miss our family and friends there and in Malaysia.

Like you, I am eclectic. Wisdom is to be found from many spiritual paths. I tell people about the wagon wheels my father had. There is a central hub with spokes going to and from it. The central hub is the Divinity whatever you want to call Her, Him, or Them. The spokes are the various spiritual paths going to and coming from the central hub, the Divinity. Native America is very close to me in more ways than one. My father traded with Navajos, Zunis. Hopis, and Pueblos. There were Kachina dolls on my crib. My father knew Nampejo, a very well-known Pueblo pottery artistan. I have many books about Native American culture. I have anthologies of Native American art and Native American literature. I contributed to the Native American museum at the Smithsonian. I get a magazine from that museum. I donated a bit to a school for the Lakota Sioux children so they sent me a bit about their culture. I just purchased a book entitled " Native Universe " published by the Smithsonian.

Yes, everything does happen for a reason. I have met people since my twin soul passed to the Other side knowing he brought us together. And it just could be that my twin soul guided you here. I am curious as to how you physically came across this site. You talked about how only Denise and I are coming here. Now you are also here. I hope this forum I began will grow. I started the first harp forum on AOL. I was discouraged for awhile, because nobody came to it. So I stopped going to my own forum. Two or three weeks later, I thought I might as well check on it. What a surprise. Lots of messages! Well, I don't plan to be away from here that long. :-) But I do hope more people will come and share their stories and thoughts with us. Whether or not more people are with us, I enjoy you and Denise being here very much.
