I'm hopelessly devoted to you..


(He stifled a yawn as he sat on the floor in the living room, a pile of papers beside him and a sleeping infant in his lap. They had released Shay and Chase from the hospital two days earlier and he had been so excited to have them home that he had barely slept either night.. just lay there and started at his son sleeping in the bassinette by their bed. It was so wonderful to hold his wife and listen to the soft sound of a baby breathing next to them. He had gotten the itch to get back to work the evening before but had been able to squelch it since Chase had been cranky and he had wanted Shay to get some rest, so he and Kyrian had sat in the living room and took turns holding the boy until he had gotten over the bit of colic he had had and fell asleep finally. Today was different though, and he had finally succumbed to the draw of the box of files in the corner. Chase was happily asleep cradled in a blanket in his lap and he was leaning back against the sofa with a thoughtful expression on his face as he read through the files on a couple more of the agents he was adding to his roster.. he had taken on a sort of spring cleaning manifesto and was in the process of moving a bunch of old agents out and bringing in people he could work with and build something with.)
