Zeth’s body straightened as the events of the situation unfolded, as the shadows he bedded Bri in crawled closer, and as both boys showed more amusement than restraint. He was relieved to see that Fury was realizing he was the lesser of three evils and he would take that responsibility seriously. It wasn’t as if Zeth had brought this trouble on her. She had trespassed onto his property and into his life. This was the price she would pay. They had learned her smell, her body, and were growing desires for her. Chances are, she’d never have them absent from her life.

Zeth moved closer to Fury, attempting to rest his fingertips on her elbow gently. But the net of black spun glitter separated him before he could react to prevent it. A doubt swelled inside him. “She’s mine, gentleman. I saw her first.” If it came to a playground argument or highschool fistfight- fine. But it was true that he had found her first. His smug face was reflecting the childish mentality that he was going to be using.
