Some brief answers to your questions - looking forward to some discussion about them.

My girls are given a regular weekly spankings partly to encourage good behaviour, partly to show God that they are sorry for any mistakes they have made and partly in reponse to a review of their obedience to the rules during the week.

Discipline is faith-based in two respects. That I believe that it is a parent's duty to spank and that a spanking, itself, is a way of showing love.

Ritual and routine are very much part of a spanking, They learn to prepare themselve beforehand, to take position properly and to accept their spankings with the correct demeanour. Quite traditional, I suppose.

Public misbehaviour is a difficult one, Generally speaking, they are reprimanded there and then before being punished as soon as we arrive home.

Yes my church has a room where parents can discipline on an informal basis. But also girls are spanked in front of the assembled attendees in much more formal sessions.
